Swapping tokens on CabbageSwap follows the same process as other AMM exchanges. Simply input the source token and the target token you desire, and CabbageSwap will handle all the calculations for you. Just review the details and confirm the transaction to complete the swap.
Getting set up to trade
Before trading, you need to set up your wallet and connect it to CabbageSwap, you also need:
Some ETH for gas fee.
Tokens to swap.

Trading on CabbageSwap (exchange)
Unlock your wallet and connect to the app (by clicking Connect wallet button in the top right-hand corner or in the Swap section)
Choose the token you want to trade (source token) and the token you want to receive (target token)
For source token, you will need to make sure you have a sufficient amount of them in your wallet to trade with.
And also make sure you have the ETH in your wallet to pay for the gas fee.
NOTE: You should also need to set the price slippage for the trading pair
Open setting at icon "Setting" in the top right corner of Swap box Price slippage is the change in token price caused by the total movement of the market.
Price Slippage is shown as the difference between the price you expect to receive after swapping vs what you actually receive after the swap is complete.
Next, you need to enter the amount of the token you want to swap (spending amount / in source token) or specify the amount of the token you want to receive (target token).
Upon entering your desired amount in one section, the corresponding amount in the other section will be automatically estimated.
Review all transaction details and click "Swap" to initiate the trade.
If you are trading tokens for the first time, you will need to approve your tokens before proceeding with the swap.
Within this swap interface, several definitions:
Minimum Received represents the smallest quantity of tokens a user will obtain in a trade.
Price Impact signifies the variance between the market price and the projected execution price, determined by the trade's magnitude.
Slippage Tolerance designates the highest permissible disparity between a user's anticipated and executed prices. You can adjust this parameter by selecting "settings" in the navigation tab or "more information" in the swap interface.
A confirmation popup will appear for reviewing the transaction details. If you are ready, click "Confirm Swap" to proceed with the swap.
Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Confirm the transaction through your wallet to execute it.
The transaction has been submitted on the blockchain. You can now check the transaction on the explorer by clicking the link provided above.
That concludes the trading process. Now, you simply need to wait for the outcome of the transaction. A toast message will appear indicating whether the transaction was successful or unsuccessful.
